A Powerful blizzard struck US east coast, bringing heavy snowfall causing massive travel disruptions.Cities like Boston, Providence and parts of upstate new york recorded between 2 to 3 feet of snow during the historic blizzard.

By this more than 5000 flights were cancelled. Places that were majorly affected included New york city, where John F Kennedy international airport and La guardia airport faced serve disruptions , Boston where Logan international airport experienced the worst condition.
